So, I needed a Thank You card to show my appreciation at her very sweet and thoughtful gesture. Tonight, I decided to go ahead and make one instead of using a store bought card.
It's a very simple card - but I like the way it turned out. I didn't want a bunch of embellishments on this one.
Supplies:
- 5x7 Card (White)
- Black Mat (from Making Memories Matstack)
- DCWV Garden Party Matstack w/ Glitter
- Ribbon - Red with Silver Borders
- Red & Pink Cardstock
- Clear Embossing Pad
- Red Embossing Powder
- Heat Gun
- Storybook Cartridge
For the inside, I selected one of the "Thank You" phrases from the Scrappy Cat Thank You clear stamp set. Using the clear embossing pad, I stamped the sentiment on the inside, covered the sentiment using my red embossing powder, and then applied heat using the heat gun to melt the powder.
I'll also add a personal note to the inside....but didn't want to include that in the picture. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I would love to hear what you think.

Very pretty!!! I'm following so many blogs, but I'm still coming in and out browsing your projects, and reading about all the blog candy giveaways and challenges. I'll be back!
I'll be seeing you
