My Pink Stamper Challenge - Pink, Green, & Black

Yesterday, I went to an all day crop that my friend, and Creative Memories consultant, Vicki was hosting.  We have the same group of attendees each month - generally the crops are on Friday nights but twice a year (Apr/Oct) she hosts an all-day event on Saturday.  As usual, I didn't get much accomplished as I like to talk too much....but I did manage to get 2 cards made.  I'm going to post one of the 2 below....will have to post the other at another time as I don't have the card handy to take a picture of it right now.

My husband's family has been dealing with some health issues as of late.  A few months ago his grandfather had a stroke....and this past week, his grandfather on his mom's side was rushed to the ER.  On Friday, my MIL received news that the doctor's are giving her step-father less than 2 months to live.  He has been diagnosed with an advanced stage of throat cancer.

I thought I would make a card to let her know that our thoughts are with her during this difficult time.  So, during the crop, I made this card for her and asked all of the attendees to sign it for her.

I kept the card pretty simple....I made the butterfly using the Home Accents cartridge and the sentiment is from the Simply Sweet Occasions set from My Pink Stamper.  I used some pop-dots to give the butterfly some dimension.  The black paper with the flower design is from the DCWV La Crème mat stack.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!
